The Denial Factor Living Truth Through Denial
|
A reader submits a comment and questions. Thanks John H. for reading The Denial Factor.
John H. comments = I like you Dave, I like your better Mom comparo......let me pick your brain a little. Do you
really, in deepest thought, (its obvious you want a better government) but I ask you, do you really (THINK) think
you are going to find a man or woman to fix this or any government. (Read Response)
John H,
Thank you for the compliment. In answer to your questions I offer this.
I was not born in America, but actually in a now socialist country. I am a byproduct of a military marriage, a
military brat if you will. But as my mother raised us she taught us firsthand what is was like to see her country
succumb to influential leaders promising change. I also learned from this how simple and easy it was to lose your
freedom and rights thus leading to other horrible crimes all in the name of the fatherland and in some cases
humanity.
Many of today (the young) are clueless as a result of the teachings in the public school, the relaxed upbringing many
parents now offer and the portrayal that government is the cure all for all of our issues. Look around you, if you
have a spat with a neighbor you are now taught to call the police, in fear of retaliation from the neighbor. Someone
cuts you off on the freeway, you have to tolerate, or stand the chance of getting shot.
America is a broken country, and unfortunately I am not the only one saying this. I hear it from members of both
parties, yet some see it as an opportunity to seize the moment and convert it into something unlike anything we
have ever seen in this country.
This thought leads to leadership and how we as a society over the last number of years have failed, both Republican
and Democrat. Neither political party possesses any real shred of integrity, and for those who might have some
integrity or The American Spirit, but are associated with an independent party is shunned and ignored.
Sadly greed and control, as well as being controlled by special interest groups have been corrupting the moral fiber
this country was founded upon. It’s true that all through history politicians have been a bit shady, one way or
another, but not like it is today. They are plain blatant about it, and love the exposure they are given as well.
What I would like to see is this country remove all of the elected officials from all offices, including the white house
and replace them with Americans dedicated to remaking a country where the masses are not raised with the
thought of relying on welfare or some form of assisted living from the government. I would like to see politicians
who listen to the real American, not the Unions, Racial Groups, Special Interest Groups or any other minority
group, just real Americans.
Additionally I would like to see our politicians have less control, allowing the American public the opportunity really
opine on issues, via a vote, instead of a bunch of phonies and liars claiming this is what the American people want,
full on knowing they do not even understand what is really going on, and believe me they do not.
America needs a leader or leaders who will fight for and resurrect our country with returned moral beliefs and not
become focused on abortions, gay marriages, and rights for children which defy their parents, but one who believes
in educating their children, not imprisoning them when they turn adults and do not have the ability to work,
resulting from the lack of education.
That same leader needs to seal and protect our borders, remove the infestation of illegal’s and return industry back
to this country.
Do I really believe there is someone out there of who could fill these shoes?
Sadly enough the thought of someone fulfilling this form of ideology grows dimmer by the day. With greed and
control being the ultimate driver and human nature what it is I often wonder. But at the same time each day I hope
that that one single American can be found and that he/she realizes what has happened and has the ability to edge
their way into the limelight and turn things around.
I would offer myself as the sacrificial lamb for that job, if only I could find a way to get America to believe, but alas
I care not to lie to earn my way to the top.
With this said and as long as I have some freedom left I will continue to bless all of you with my thoughts and
opinions. In return we can try and stick together working on changing and correcting the damage. Perhaps
someday we will find the very person pertaining to the question you asked.
Thanks
Dave
