The Denial Factor
Living Truth Through Denial

Well May has arrived and by now I am guessing you think I have decided to stop writing The Denial Factor.
Fortunately for all of us that is not the case.  These last several weeks I have been off on a new journey with my
insta-green USA (
www.instagreen.biz)  business.

As some of you know I had the good fortune of being hired by the City of Perris Ca to provide lawn painting on a
number of foreclosures within the city.  As a result of this venture I soon became a bit of a novelty with the media.

As expected Perris wrote an article about our services for their internal news letter/paper, and as a result of this it
was not long before America’s media began to call asking for interviews and photo sessions.

Both the city and I obliged and our first visit was from KTLA News 5 from Los Angeles CA.  Soon afterward we were
joined by the LA times and ABC World News tonight and Nightline.

As expected KTLA aired the story and all thought it was good, but soon afterward the LA times published their story
about us on the front page for May 2, 2009, again another big surprise.  But on Tuesday night ABC Nightline also
aired their story and both the City of Perris and Insta-green USA made national news.

A very interesting time in my life to say the least.

As for Insta-green USA I see great possibilities in the future for this business and will continue to pursue those
goals, while at the same time continuing to serve all of the clients I have had over the years of which have been
very loyal.

Am I driving a Mercedes Benz or do I have a Directors chair, not hardly, in fact you will still find me behind the
wheel of my Toyota pick-up doing what I always do……………………working for a living.

If you would like to see the media coverage click here @

But for one person life has dealt a very sad and ugly card, but thanks to modern medicine, and  what looks like a
few more surgeries things may change.

The person I am talking about is 46 year old Connie Culp of which had the misfortune to have married an idiot who
one day decided to blow her face off with a shotgun.  As amazing as amazing can get Connie apparently had angels
sitting on both shoulders keeping her alive until recovery began.

In looking at the photo’s Connie was not a bad looking woman, but after taking that shot in the face this woman
became a side show freak of the best kind.

In staring at her disfigured photo for about 10 minutes I could not imagine, even in my wildest dreams what she had
endured or even what she would think when she went out in public.  It simply had to be the toughest thing in the
world for her.

Before                           The Damage              The Result                                          The X-Rays

But after 22 hours of intense surgery Connie underwent a full face transplant, purely something fresh out a Science
Fiction Novel 30 years ago, and the results…………..well I will let you decide how you feel about that one.

Connie’s face has improved but still in looking at her all I can see is a nice looking woman turned into a side show
freak, only to become a character in a comic book.

Sounds  cruel, and I know it, but it truly is not meant to be.  In fact her idiot husband was such a loser that after he
tried to kill Connie he turned the shotgun on himself and failed in killing himself.  This moron should get the death
penalty for taking away a large part of Connie’s life and leaving the rest of it as it is.

I wish Ms. Culp the best and hope the future surgeries will improve her looks, as I know this is not what she asked
for.  As for her husband, well I guess the kids were lucky he did not choose one of them and maybe, just maybe
someone in prison might give him the death sentence he should have gotten in the first place.

All of this leads me to one thought, will technology like what they have performed on Ms. Culp be available under
Socialized Medicine, or will it be as good.
