The Denial Factor Living Truth Through Denial
|
October 12, 2009
Writing for a living or a hobby can be very difficult, especially when you lose track of your original goal or idea.
Take me for example, when I started The Denial Factor two years ago my goal was to offer a point of view about
humanity (American Style) and how denial plays a very large role in both our daily lives and our long term existence.
As a result of this I began writing on what I thought might be the right subject matter, but received little or no
feedback on my thoughts or concerns. Then as luck would have it the presidential elections came along colliding
with the financial disaster in California.
I soon found myself headed into the world of the obsessed, constantly on a tirade over how stupid America has
become and how we are flushing our freedom down the toilet at an incredible rate. To make matters worse I soon
discovered there where hundreds like me writing or airing their thoughts on radio or in print. I began to wonder
with all of the noise and panic what good would another ambulance chaser over the loss of freedom matter to anyone.
Thus I stopped writing for a while and pondered on what exactly I was supposed to be doing with this site. I soon
realized that The Denial Factor is not a politico site and that saving the country is not something I can do alone. I
also realized that with all of the media flooding all of us with Barrack this and Barrack that I would be wasting my
time defending my beliefs by trying to provoke thought and maybe even act as an eye opener for the visually
impaired.
I have decided to continue writing The Denial Factor in hopes that all of you will once again find interest in my
thoughts and ideas with the understanding that I really do care about the freedom (limited that it is) and simply
refuse to acknowledge the fact that America really enjoys the idea of socialism. I guess that is my form of Denial.
I believe that I will once again get back on track writing at least once a week and will be addressing issues, some of
which may be of interest to you and some which may not, but none the less it will be a fresh thought each and week.
Additionally I will be keeping the Political Hack for those who want my view on politics, or the view of others of
which you may have not read or heard about.
Who knows I might actually spark interest in my site once again.
So for all of my loyal reader’s thank you for being here as we turn two and let’s move on.
Dave.
